Make an Impact with Every Purchase: Celebrate Earth Day with Everviolet’s Sustainable Fashion
Happy Earth Day, and welcome to Fashion Revolution Week!
At Everviolet, we are celebrating this week by reaffirming our commitment to creating beautiful, sustainable garments that support holistic health in our body and our environment. Fashion Revolution Week reminds us that the choices we make as consumers can drive the change we want to see in the world. This year, we’re reflecting on our impact and recommitting to our eco-mission — because fashion can be both beautiful and kind to the earth.
With the apparel industry being one of the most polluting sectors globally, Everviolet is dedicated to minimizing our carbon footprint and choosing materials that leave a positive impact. While not every piece we create is 100% sustainable, that is because we believe that consumers should have options for all personal preferences and styles. All of our packaging and shipping materials come with a guarantee of recyclability, compostability or both.
Everviolet’s Commitment to Sustainable Fabrics
Every garment we create is made with the environment in mind. Our signature fabrics are made with cotton and certified TENCEL™ Modal that when manufactured and worn, have minimal negative impact on planet earth. Every piece in our intimate apparel collection, including the Maia Bra, Astrid Bralette, Maia Girl Short, Maia Cami and Calla Kimono are crafted from these eco-friendly materials, offering breathable fabrics that are naturally antimicrobial, moisture-wicking and temperature regulating.
-
Cotton: Soft, breathable, hypoallergenic and made from a renewable resource.
-
Certified TENCEL™ Modal: Sustainably sourced and produced using a closed-loop system that minimizes environmental impact.
Transparency in Our Processes
We believe in transparency and openness to build trust and help our customers make mindful choices for their body and health. We’re always striving to improve, and if any styles are not able to be crafted with eco-friendly fabrics, we are always up front and explain why. For example, in some styles, we incorporate feminine lace to enhance elegance and adaptability, and jersey that provides unparalleled chemical-free cooling. Sustainable options of these fabrics do not exist yet, but we are always working with our partners around innovation, looking to find sustainable alternatives and make conscious decisions every step of the way.
Everviolet’s Small-Batch Production
As we celebrate Fashion Revolution Week, we’re reminded of the importance of slow fashion and how small-batch production help us contribute to the solution. By producing smaller quantities of garments with each production run, we minimize waste, reduce overproduction and are able to sell through our inventory fully. This process ensures that every garment is made with the utmost care and attention to detail. It also allows us to build close relationships with our suppliers and ensure that ethical manufacturing practices are being upheld throughout all levels of our supply chain.

Eco-Friendly Packaging & Shipping
Our commitment to sustainability extends to every part of our fulfillment process. We use recycled tissue paper and postcards in our packaging and compostable, reusable materials in all of our shipments. This ensures that even after our pieces are received, the materials they arrive in minimize harm for the planet. Even our Boudoir Bags are designed for reuse — whether as travel storage, gift bags or organizers.
