Am I Covered?

Did you know that Everviolet bras might be partially or fully covered by your medical insurance?

It's true! Thanks to the US Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA) of 1998, individuals who have undergone a mastectomy—whether single or double—could be eligible to receive coverage for post-surgery garments, mastectomy bras, breast forms, and prostheses through their insurance each year. This coverage also extends to those who have not undergone reconstructive surgery.

To take advantage of this benefit, all you need is a valid prescription from your doctor.

While Everviolet cannot directly process insurance payments, we encourage you to contact your provider to explore your specific coverage options. We are also happy to provide you with any information required by your insurance plan to submit a claim for reimbursement.

*Note: provisions of WHCRA have remained unchanged by the Affordable Care Act, particularly for plans that offered coverage before 2010.
