Kaitlyn Hanna: Forever in Our Hearts

Beauty is a light that shines, and Kaitlyn’s light was by far one of the brightest.

Introduced to us by another model, we fell in love at first sight with this beautiful, hilarious, brilliant, sprite soul.

From our very first photoshoot, Kaitlyn infused our brand and our spirits with authenticity, elegance and strength. Her will and determination taught us all how to live life to the fullest.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear Kaitlyn. She fought every day with grace, presence and determination, and we are all better to have known her.

Over the past two years, Kaitlyn also became a dear friend. There will forever be a spark missing in our lives, but as were her wishes, her radiance will live on through Everviolet.

We wish Kaitlyn’s family and loved ones ease and peace as they navigate this great loss.

You will be in our hearts forever, Kaitlyn.

Keira, Meghan, Jessica & the entire Everviolet family

To make a contribution in honor of Kaitlyn Hanna, please consider donating to one of her favorite charities, the metastatic breast cancer research organization, METAavivor.

Everviolet was honored to be able to share part of Kaitlyn's story through our In Her Words series in December, 2018. You can read more about her brave journey here.

Kaitlyn's illness ultimately progressed to a late-stage complication of metastatic breast cancer called Leptomeningeal Disease. One of her wishes was to create awareness of this rare experience. See her interview here:

"Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation." – Rumi
